PTT and AOT Join Forces to Create Shared Economic, Social and Environmental Value
PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) and Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to drive and promote improvements in operational performance. The MoU was signed by Rattikool Piyavongwanich, Senior Executive Vice President, Project Engineering and Operational Excellence, PTT, and Sirot Duangrat, Deputy Managing Director The Business Development and Marketing, AOT, Sucheela Suwan, Executive Vice President, Administration and Operational Excellence Development, PTT, and Saranya Boonyawat, Executive Vice President, AOT, also attended the signing ceremony as witnesses.
The collaboration builds on initiatives under the State-Owned Enterprise Partnership Program, focusing on the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices to strengthen organizational management capabilities. The partnership will also support the development of strategic projects that create shared value across four key areas: clean energy development and greenhouse gas emissions reduction; workforce development; enhanced safety standards and emergency management; and the application of digital technologies, data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve operational efficiency.
A key focus of the collaboration is the management of Used Cooking Oil (UCO), reflecting the two organizations’ commitment to supporting greenhouse gas emissions reduction policies and the country’s transition toward a low-carbon economy. The initiative further reinforces the role of state-owned enterprises in creating value for the economy, society and the environment, while contributing to Thailand’s continued sustainable development.
