Thailand’s PTTEP is turning up the temperature on its latest major project in Malaysia that aims to develop a cluster of four discoveries in the offshore Sarawak play that it has almost single-handedly transformed in recent years.

PTTEP has made multiple discoveries in the area in a blur of drilling activity in the past years.

The largest is Lang Lebah, which is one of PTTEP’s two major projects in Malaysia, however it is being redesigned following a budget blowout last year during the tender stage for engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
